Physical dimensions
Dimensions of the rooms and property of the H.O.P.E. Centre were recorded to the nearest inch using a ruler and a digital tape measure. Dimensions and physical locations of furniture and appliances were also recorded.
Digital construction
Physical dimensions were translated into Google SketchUp to develop a 3D representation of the H.O.P.E. Centre. SketchUp allows simple 2D shapes to be extruded into complex 3D buildings.

Virtual access
The completed 3D model was uploaded to Google Earth and placed on the Centre's actual geographic coordinates. Google Earth enables users to view satellite imagery of the earth.
